1. Overview
Therisse is a telehealth platform operated by Ironoak Holdings LLC ("we," "us," "our") that connects patients with independently licensed, board-certified physicians for hormone replacement therapy consultations and ongoing care. By using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Medical Disclaimer
Therisse is not a medical provider. All medical services, including consultations, diagnoses, prescriptions, and treatment plans, are provided by independently licensed physicians through our telehealth platform partner. The physician-patient relationship exists between you and your treating physician. Therisse facilitates access to these services but does not practice medicine.
Therisse is not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or seek in-person care at an urgent care facility or Emergency Department.
Telehealth is not a substitute for in-person care. Where appropriate, your treating physician may recommend that you seek evaluation or treatment with a primary care provider, specialist, or local urgent care. You are encouraged to maintain a primary care provider; if you do not have one, you can find one through a local search or by contacting your state medical society.
There is no guarantee that any patient will be treated by a participating physician. As determined by the provider, care or specific treatments may not be appropriate for each patient. Each physician reserves the right to deny care for potential misuse of services or for any other reason if, in the professional judgment of the provider, the provision of services is not medically or ethically appropriate. There is no guarantee that a prescription will be issued; whether a prescription is appropriate is determined in the professional judgment of the treating physician.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and reside in a state where our services are available. You must provide accurate and complete health information during your assessment. Providing false or misleading health information may result in termination of services.
4. Programs & Billing
Therisse offers two programs. Each charge includes a separate, transparent physician consultation fee billed on your behalf to MDI Medical Group PC.
- Hormone Therapy (HRT): $297 every 90 days for your three-month supply, plus a $30 physician consultation fee on your first order. Renews automatically every 90 days. Free shipping.
- Medical Weight Loss (GLP-1): $229 per month for your medication and cold-chain shipping, plus a $20 physician consultation fee on your first order. Renews automatically each month. Not available in AR, IN, MN, SC.
You may cancel future renewals at any time, with no cancellation fee, by emailing support@therisse.com or via the customer portal link in your billing receipt. Cancellation is effective for the next billing cycle; the current cycle's medication remains yours.
5. Refund Policy
Before your physician reviews your case: You may request a full refund (including the consultation fee) by emailing support@therisse.com before completing the medical intake form. Refunds are processed within seven business days to your original payment method.
If your physician determines treatment is not appropriate: You will receive a full refund of all charges, including the consultation fee ($30 for HRT, $20 for GLP-1). This applies regardless of program.
After medication has been prescribed and shipped: The current billing period (the 90-day quarter for HRT, the month for GLP-1) is non-refundable, including for unused supply. You may cancel future renewals at any time with no cancellation fee; cancellation is effective for the next billing cycle.
Mid-cycle cancellation: Because medication is dispensed for the full billing cycle in a single shipment, partial refunds for unused supply are not available. The exception is documented clinical contraindication identified after shipment, in which case refunds are evaluated case-by-case. Email support@therisse.com with your physician's correspondence.
Disputes and chargebacks: If you have a billing concern, please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We will work to resolve any legitimate billing issue within five business days.
6. Medications & Pharmacy
Medications prescribed by your physician are dispensed by a licensed pharmacy. Individual treatment plans vary based on your symptoms, lab results, and medical history. Results vary by individual. Your physician will discuss expected outcomes, risks, and alternatives during your consultation. Certain hormone replacement and GLP-1 formulations are compounded by a 503A pharmacy and are not individually FDA-approved as compounded; the active ingredients used are FDA-approved. Your physician will inform you when a prescribed medication is being used off-label.
Pharmacy choice: Therisse partners with Strive Compounding Pharmacy (503A) for fulfillment, but you have the right to direct your prescription to any pharmacy of your choosing. To request that your prescription be routed to a different pharmacy, email support@therisse.com with the receiving pharmacy's name, address, phone, and NCPDP or NPI number; we will coordinate with your treating physician to transfer the prescription.
Insurance: Therisse is a cash-pay telehealth service. You agree that you will not submit a claim for telemedicine services received through Therisse to Medicare, Medicaid, any other federal payor, or any state or private payor. Therisse does not bill insurance and does not accept insurance for the telemedicine services it facilitates.
7. Communications Consent
By using Therisse, you consent to your treating physician and their support staff communicating with you through the following channels for purposes related to your care: secure in-platform messaging, video files, audio files, telephone calls, direct text messaging (SMS), email, and invitations to participate in HIPAA-compliant audio or video chat sessions. You may withdraw consent to any specific communication channel at any time by emailing support@therisse.com, except that secure in-platform messaging remains a required channel for delivery of clinical communications while you have an active treatment plan.

9. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ironoak Holdings LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Therisse. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the twelve months preceding any claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MD Integrations Inc., its officers, employees, contractors, and the physicians who contract with MD Integrations to provide care through the Therisse platform, from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Therisse platform or services provided through it, except to the extent caused by the indemnified party's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.
11. Filing a Complaint
If you have a clinical or professional-conduct concern about a treating physician, you may file a complaint with the state medical board that issued the physician's license. The state medical board for the state in which you reside or in which the physician is licensed is the appropriate venue. A directory of state medical boards is maintained by the Federation of State Medical Boards at fsmb.org/contact-a-state-medical-board.
For complaints about the Therisse service itself, including billing, shipping, or account issues, please contact support@therisse.com. We will respond to legitimate billing issues within five business days.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
