State Availability & Licensing

Last updated: July 3, 2026

1. Who is licensed

Therisse is a brand operated by Ironoak Holdings LLC, a Texas limited liability company. Therisse is not a medical provider and does not hold medical licenses. It operates the platform and handles marketing, billing, and support.

Medical care is provided by independently licensed, board-certified physicians through MDI Medical Group PC. Each physician is licensed by the medical board of the state in which they provide care. The physician network is licensed across all 50 states, so you are matched with a physician who holds a license in your state.

2. Confirming availability in your state

Availability is confirmed by your state of residence when you begin the medical intake form. If a physician licensed in your state is available for the program you have selected, you can proceed; if not, you will not be charged for a program we cannot provide in your state. To check availability, start the intake form or email support@therisse.com.

3. Program-specific restrictions

Some programs are not available in every state. Our Medical Weight Loss (GLP-1) program is not available in Arkansas, Indiana, Minnesota, or South Carolina. Program availability can change; the medical intake form reflects current availability for your state.

4. Pharmacy licensing

Prescriptions are dispensed by Strive Compounding Pharmacy, a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy, unless you direct your prescription to a pharmacy of your choosing. See our Terms of Service for how to route a prescription to a different pharmacy.

5. Verifying a physician's license

You may verify the license of your treating physician with the medical board of the state in which they are licensed. A directory of state medical boards is maintained by the Federation of State Medical Boards at fsmb.org/contact-a-state-medical-board.

6. Questions
